WESTERVILLE, OHIO –Otterbein University women’s soccer will compete against the United States National Deaf Women’s Soccer team in an exhibition contest Saturday, April 28 at Columbus Crew Stadium. Starting time is scheduled for 12:30 p.m.
Tickets are being sold for $25 and will be good for admission to all three games slated for the day. The U.S. National Men’s Deaf team will play the Crew Soccer Academy at 3 p.m., followed by the Columbus Crew squaring off with the Vancouver Whitecaps at 7 p.m.

“We’re very excited to return to Crew Stadium and for such an exciting event,” said 12th-year head coach Brandon Koons. “It’s great to finally get to take advantage of a spring game and we’re honored to play the US Deaf Team. It should be a great day and we’re really looking forward to it.”
Otterbein women’s soccer has moved into the national spotlight over the last several years, with the program finishing the 2008, 2009, and 2010 seasons ranked in the top-10 nationally. The Cardinals made their first NCAA Final Four appearance in 2010, finishing No. 3 in the final national poll while boasting the country’s top-ranked defense.
Otterbein last played at Crew Stadium in the fall of 2008, clinching the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) regular season title with a 1-0 victory over cross-town rival Capital University.
