ANDY JOHNSON

Andy Johnson begins his ninth season as an assistant coach. He works with the men’s and women’s high jumpers.

A 2000 Otterbein graduate, Johnson was a four-year lettermen and holds the school record in the high jump (6-10 3/4) and the two-man high jump relay. Johnson was an eight-time national qualifier, six-time national participant, and earned All-America honors twice.

During Johnson’s first year at Otterbein he coached Bill Myers and Mike Perinne to the 2005 NCAA Outdoor Championships in the high jump. He also helped Myers earn All-American honors at the 2005 NCAA Indoor Championships.

 Johnson currently works for Safelite Auto Glass and lives in Westerville.
