Seesholtz, a junior defensive end from Bremen (Fairfield Union) helped the football team improve to 3-0 this season with a 21-7 homecoming victory over John Carroll.

Seesholtz tallied seven total tackles in the win, including six solo and four tackles for a loss. In addition, he recorded one pass sack, forced a fumble, and blocked a JCU field-goal attempt in the third quarter. The Cardinal defense has held each of its first three opponents to ten points or less.

Seesholtz was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week.
