Basford, a junior from Massillon (Jackson H.S.), turned in a solid week that helped the softball team play to a 4-2 record.

Basford became Otterbein's all-time leader for most steals, surpassing Casey Clarridge's mark of 63 during a doubleheader sweep at Kenyon. She has now been successful on 66 of 75 stolen-base attempts during her two-plus seasons.

Basford also went 12 for 22 (.545) at the dish, scoring nine runs and tallying two RBI.
