Poullet, a freshman from Hilliard Darby, opened her collegiate career in fine fashion over the weekend by taking home the individual title and helping the women's cross country team win the Madison Kiwanis Invitational. The meet, hosted by Hanover College, featured 109 runners from 11 different schools.

Poullet covered the 5k course in 19:15.6, besting the second-place finisher by 22 seconds.

Otterbein placed four runners in the top-10 to capture first as a team, finishing six points ahead of Wisconsin Stevens Point.
