McCoy, a sophomore wide receiver from Columbus (Marion Franklin High School), helped the Cardinal football team pick up its first win of the 2013 season on Saturday with a 30-14 triumph over visiting Wilmington.

McCoy led Otterbein in receiving by hauling in nine balls for 95 yards, which included a 19-yard touchdown catch in the second quarter to put the Cards ahead, 14-7. His long reception of the day went for 23 yards in the fourth quarter.

Otterbein travels to John Carroll this coming weekend ofr its first road game, with kick off from University Heights set for 7 p.m.
