Mantell, a senior mid-distance runner from Hilliard (Bishop Ready), gave yet another standout performanc over the weekend for the men's track and field team at the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Championships.

Mantell claimed victory in three separate events, winning the mile (4:23.16) and 800-meter run (1:56.23) while also anchoring the winning distance-medley relay team to a second-straight OAC title.

As a result of his efforts, Mantell was named the OAC's "Most Valuable Distance Runner" at the conclusion of the event.
