Jones, a sophomore linebacker from Dresden (Tri-Valley) turned in a new career-high of 18 tackles Saturday evening to help the football team post a runaway 50-28 win over cross-town rival Capital.

Jones, whose previous career-best was 14, helped the Cardinal defense limit the Crusaders to just seven points in the second half as Otterbein busted the game wide open. Four of his stops against Capital's triple-option attack were unassisted.
