McElwain, a freshman from North Georgetown, turned in a solid week offensively to help the softball team go 4-2 within Ohio Athletic Conference play.

McElwain hit 9 for 22 at the plate, tallying at least one hit in each of the six games and finishing the stretch with eight RBI.

Her best outing game in game two at Baldwin Wallace, where she hit 3 for 5 with four RBI, three runs scores, two doubles and a home run. She roped eight doubles on the week as a whole.
