Ervin, a senior linebacker, came up with a critical interception for a touchdown to help the football team earn a 31-21 victory at Marietta over the weekend. In addition to his team-high 11 tackles (1.5 for loss), Ervin tallied a 43-yard pick-six late in the fourth quarter to put the game away.

It was just his second college game playing defense after switching from running back. As a result of his performance, he was voted Ohio Athletic Conference Defensive 'Player of the Week.'
