Kellogg, a freshman from Bexley, ran his way to a 12th-place finish over the weekend at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional in Terrea Haute, Ind.

Kellogg earned all-region honors in the 242-runner field, covering the 8K distance in a time of 25:43 even. His performance was good enough to qualify for nationals as an individual.

He will compete at the NCAA Championships this coming Saturday in Winnecone, Wisc.
