Carter, a senior goalkeeper from Pickerington, helped third-ranked Otterbein advance to the Final Four of the NCAA Division III tournament this past weekend. Carter posted her 19th shutout of the season and stopped two penalty kicks against Loras (IA) in the Sweet 16, only before turning around the next day to stop Denison's first two penalty kicks in the Elite 8. In addition, she was named the 2010 CoSIDA/ESPN the Magazine Academic All-America of the Year.
