Finnegan, a freshman from New Paris, Pa. (Chestnut Ridge), set a new school-record in the weight throw over the weekend at the OAC South Split Meet.

Emily finished third with a toss of 45-3 (13.79m), shattering the old mark by a foot. Her effort helped the Cardinals easily win the meet by more than 170 points.

Otterbein is back in action this coming weekend at the Findlay Classic.
