Mally, a senior right-handed pitcher from Marion (River Valley), went 2-0 on the mound during the baseball team's spring break trip that ended with a 7-2 overall record.

Mally tossed 12.2 innings over the pair of starts, allowing just nine hits, two earned runs and striking out 12 batters.

His best effort came in the trip finale against Rockford, when he surrendered just three hits and no earned runs over 7.2 innings. Otterbein won the game 4-2.
