Seckel, a senior from Bexley, turned in a perfect 4-0 record throughout matches with Mount Union and Heidelberg last week to help the men's tennis team secure the No. 3 seed in the OAC Tournament.
Seckel won both of his singles and doubles matches, playing in the No. 2 spot individually and then at the top doubles position with Will Willson. Seckel won 6-0, 7-5 against Mount after teaming with Willson for a narrow 9-7 victory to begin the day.
He closed strong over the weekend, pulling out a hard-fought singles win by scores of 6-2, 4-6 and then winning a tiebreaker 10-3. He and Willson claimed an 8-5 triumph in doubles play.
