Kissel, a sophomore guard from Cincinnati (Mount Notre Dame) had an all-around performance to help the women's basketball team defeat Ohio Wesleyan, 79-63, during its home opener at the Rike Center.

Kissel tied for a game-high 20 points, shooting 7 of 11 from the field and also grabbing eight rebounds in 32 minutes of action. She added three assists, three steals and made all six of her free-throw attempts.
