Taylor, a junior from Cambridge, opened the week by carrying the women's basketball team to a 73-72 victory at Marietta with a career-high 32 points. She shot 9 of 13 from the field, 14 of 17 from the free-throw line, came up with a career-high five steals and made the game-winning layup in the closing seconds.
Taylor finished the week with a 15-point, seven-rebound effort against Heidelberg. In that contest, she shot 6 of 11 from the field and also tallied a pair of steals and a blocked shot. As a result of her efforts, she was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Player of the Week.
