McElwain, a junior from North Georgetown (West Branch), hit .333 at the plate last week as the softball team played to a 5-1 record. Her crowning moment came in the week's final at-bat, launching a walk-off grand slam to give the Cards a wild 8-7 victory over Muskingum.

In addition to her seven hit, McElwain tallied nine RBI's to go along with four runs scored, four doubles and one triple.
