Stopar, a junior from Westerville (St. Francis DeSales), hit an even .500 last week by going 2 for 4 in all three outings for the nationally-ranked baseball team.

The Cards improved their season mark to 16-5, with Stopar scoring five runs, driving in another three himself and walking twice.

He launched his fourth home run of the season in a 9-1 victory at Oberlin and then delivered a timely RBI in the eighth inning against Baldwin Wallace.
