Rivas, a junior midfielder from Greenfield, helped the men's soccer team put La Roche away over the weekend by scoring three goals in the second half en route to a 7-0 win.

The season-opener for both teams went to halftime with Otterbein ahead 2-0, but the Cardinals blew the match open beginning with a Rivas goal just five minutes into the second period. He then added scores in the 59th and 89th minutes.
