Lamb, a junior from Granville, ran 9:51 in the 3,000 meters at Ohio State over the weekend to finish fourth of 29 competitors. The converted time for NCAA rankings currently has her situated eighth in the nation.
She turned around the next day to run 3:00.37 in the 1,000 meters at Kent State, finishing as the runner-up and taking the third spot in program history. She finished only behind unattached Rachel Banks, who recently transferred to Kent after earning All-American honors at Penn State.
As a result of her efforts, she was chosen as the Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Track Athlete of the Week.
