Sarkine, a senior from Avon, Ind., had an impressive spring break to help the softball team post a 6-4 record against some challenging opponents.

Sarkine, who had not homered in her college career, caught fire to launch four round-trippers on the same day for a memorable pair of games. She ended the trip in Arizona leading the team in batting average (.450) and runs scored (13) while also tallying seven RBI.
