McElwain, a senior from North Georgetown (West Branch), earned OAC 'Player of the Year' honors in softball following a standout senior year.

She ranked top-five in the conference in batting (.429), hits (60), doubles (16) and home runs (9) and led all OAC performers with a whopping .764 slugging percentage. McElwain also became the program's all-time hits leader at 215 and helped the Cards secure a third-straight OAC regular-season crown.
