Otterbein University Athletics

Basford, a freshman centerfielder from Massillon (Jackson High School), turned in a solid week as the Otterbein softball team played to a 4-2 record. The team's leadoff hitter, Basford hit 9 for 21 (.429) at the plate while tallying 10 RBIs, six coming in one game at Mount St. Joseph. In addition, she scored six runs and posted two triples, one double, one walk, and four stolen bases.
