A senior from Dublin (Coffman High School), Fairchild performed admirably as an all-purpose threat in the team's narrow 34-33 overtime loss at Ohio Northern. He scored an 18-yard rushing touchdown to open the scoring, and later hauled in a 6-yard TD reception with six seconds to play before the half. Overall, his 242 all-purpose yards included seven catches for 95 yards, two rushes for 25 yards, and five kickoff returns for 125 yards.
