Piper, a freshman setter from Sunbury (Big Walnut High School), helped the Cardinals advance to the OAC tournament semifinals and eventually an at-large bid in the NCAA Tournament this past week. Piper tallied 80 assists over the team's two matches to go along with ten digs and six kills. In addition, she was recently named the Ohio Athletic Conference "Freshman of the Year."
