Stroyne, a sophomore from Venitia, Pa. (Peters Township High School), won five of her six matches last week for the women's tennis team. Stroyne was victorious in all three of her singles matches, including a 6-2, 6-3 over Stephanie Janks from Division II Eckerd College. Stroyne and teammate Taylor Jordan won two of their three doubles outings as well. She was named the Ohio Athletic Conference "Player of the Week" as a result of her efforts.
