Memorial Stadium

Memorial Stadium, originally constructed around 1947 by returning WWII vets, was named in honor of 14 local citizens who lost their lives serving in the war. Lights were added in the 1950’s and many other developments occurred until it was rebuilt in 2005. The stadium is home to Ballenger Field and McVay Track, all serve the Cardinal football, soccer, lacrosse and track and field programs. The Cole Victory Bell was installed in 2016 and is positioned on the southwest corner and gets rung by Otterbein teams after each triumph.

The stadium also features a handicap accessible grandstand that seats 2,400, including a section in the middle with 500 stadium chairs, and a press box with an elevator. There are locker rooms, an athletic training room, and an equipment room on the lower level for student-athlete access. Also on the main level is the "O" Club room, hosting a number of events and meals before, during and after competition, as well as NCAA watch parties.

Memorial Stadium underwent a $2 million renovation in the summer of 2014 to install a new turf field, featuring a Crossflex HP synthetic surface that replaced natural grass, and surrounding 13-millimeter Stobitan track. Otterbein used three Ohio-based companies for the renovation - MSA Architects, The Motz Group, and Heiberger Paving.
