NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. – The Otterbein women's soccer team bounced back nicely with its second match in less than 24 hours Sunday afternoon, blowing past host Manchester en route to a 5-0 road victory.
The Cardinals, dropping a tough 3-2 decision against Case Western Reserve in the rain on Saturday night, get themselves into the win column for the first time this season. Senior
Delaney Earl scored twice in the triumph.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Earl put Otterbein ahead 1-0 in the eighth minute off a double-assists from Anjuli Anderson and Lauren Alley.

- The Cards never looked back from there, receiving goals from Bailey and Aubrey Zanella as the first half progressed, to assume a 3-0 advantage by intermission.

- Grace Weidenhamer found Earl for her second score of the day in the 63rd minute, and Anderson added another for good measure at the 65:56 mark to complete the scoring.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Otterbein dominated possession and the final stats, walking away with a 22-0 shot advantage and taking all 11 corner kicks.

- Mancheter goalie Becca Colbert had to make 10 saves while Cate Bennett had another.

- Cardinal sophomore Jada Leyland, a converted defender, went all 90 minutes in goal for the second-straight outing.

- 20 position players saw time for Otterbein.
