Otterbein places 56 on fall Academic All-OAC list

WESTERVILLE – Otterbein qualified 56 student-athletes for Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference recognition for the fall season, the league announced on Wednesday.

To earn the recognition, a student-athlete must maintain a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.50 on a 4.00 scale, have reached varsity status and be at least a sophomore in academic standing. Student-athletes may not receive the honor more than three times in one sport in their careers.

The women's soccer program led the way at Otterbein with 17 student-athletes earning the honor this year. Volleyball wasn't far behind with 11, followed by football with nine, men's and women's cross country with seven each and men's soccer with five.
