2024 OCSA NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Academic All-Ohio Team

Lauren Alley and
Aubrey Zanella lead a list of four Otterbein women's soccer student-athletes recognized by the Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association (OCSA) for their efforts on the field and/or in the classroom during the 2024 season.
Alley and Zanella each were named to the 2024 OCSA All-Ohio and Academic All-Ohio teams in NCAA Division III women's soccer. Alley was a First Team All-Ohio and Academic All-Ohio selection, while Zanella was a Second Team All-Ohio and Academic All-Ohio selection.
Junior
Rae Ehrbar joined Zanella on the All-Ohio Second Team, and senior
Bailey Zanella rounded out the Cardinals' honorees as a Second Team Academic All-Ohio selection.
Alley, a midfielder, adds these latest accolades to her United Soccer Coaches All-Region VII Third Team, All-Ohio Athletic Conference Second Team, College Sports Communicators Academic All-District and Academic All-OAC honors for 2024. She played in all 20 games, making 19 starts, and closed the year with seven points on two goals and a team-leading three assists.
She has played in 66 career games, making 53 starts, and has 32 points on 10 goals and 12 assists.
Aubrey Zanella, a defender, joined Alley on the United Soccer Coaches All-Region VII Third Team, All-OAC Second Team in addition to earning Academic All-OAC recognition this season. She started all 20 games and led an Otterbein defense that ranked second in the OAC in both fewest goals allowed (18) and GAA (0.90).
A three-time All-OAC selection in her career, she has six points on two goals and two assists in 75 games, including 73 starts.
Ehrbar, a forward, was a United Soccer Coaches All-Region VII Fourth Team pick this season while also earning All-OAC Third Team, CSC Academic All-District and Academic All-OAC recognition. She started all 20 games and tied for the team lead in goals (4) and tied for second on the team in points (8).
In 43 career games, including 31 starts, the two-time Academic All-OAC honoree has 18 points on seven goals and four assists.
Bailey Zanella, a midfielder, earns her first Academic All-Ohio recognition after having been named to the All-Ohio Team in each of the past three seasons. An All-OAC Third Team and Academic All-OAC selection in 2024, she started all 20 games and tallied four points on a pair of goals.
The four-time All-OAC selection and 2021 OAC Freshman of the Year and Midfielder of the Year is also a two-time CSC Academic All-District honoree.
In four seasons at Otterbein, she has started all 75 of the games in which she has played, totaling 31 points on 13 goals and five assists.
Under 26th-year head coach
Brandon Koons, Otterbein closed the 2024 season with an overall record of 9-5-6 and finished fourth in the OAC with a 3-2-4 mark in league play. The Cardinals earned a spot in the OAC Tournament for the 24th time in program history, ultimately advancing to the semifinals.
