ORLANDO, Fla. – The Otterbein men's tennis team opened its spring break trip with with a 6-1 win over Marymount (Va.) on Sunday.

• #1: Freshman Sanjan Shanker fell 2-6, 5-7 to Eshan Degamwar.
• #2: Sophomore Neil Reddy won 6-2, 6-1 over Josemaria Torrecillas.
• #3: Sophomore Jake Chilcote won 7-5, 6-3 over Gunek Singh.
• #4: Sophomore Nikita Kitaev won 6-0, 6-1 over Emilio Escamilla.
• #5: Senior Will Newberry won 6-3, 6-2 over Adam Stanulis.
• #6: Junior Zach Frederick won 4-6, 6-1, 10-7 over Nathaniel Tesfaye.

Doubles

• #1: Shanker and Reddy won 6-3 over Degamwar and Escamilla.
• #2: Newberry and Chilcote won 6-1 over Torrecillas and Singh.
• #3: Kitaev and Frederick won 6-1 over Tesfaye and Stanulis.

Notables

• Tenth-year head coach Tyler Stephen is 104-65 during his tenure leading the men's tennis team at Otterbein.
• Newberry (6-2), Reddy (6-3) and Kitaev (6-7) lead the Cardinals in singles wins on the season.
