BEXLEY, Ohio — In their regular season finale, the Otterbein University women's soccer team dropped a 3-0 decision to Capital University.
The Comets got on the board in the 17th minute off an unassisted strike. The lone goal would stand into halftime with Capital taking a 1-0 lead at the break.
Capital doubled its lead in the 51st minute. Despite Otterbein getting better looks in the second half, the Cardinals were unable to get on the board. The hosts secured the match with a late for a 3-0 advantage.
Capital outshot Otterbein and held the edge in corners. In goal, senior

Otterbein will be the No. 3 seed in next week's OAC Tournament. On Tuesday, the Cardinals will host Marietta College for a 7 p.m. kickoff.
