Kuhn begins their first year as the pole vault coach at Otterbein University, bringing a wealth of experience and success from her collegiate track and field career at The Ohio State University. A standout athlete for the Buckeyes, Kuhn competed from 2020 to 2024, earning numerous accolades, and setting multiple records along the way.
During her time at Ohio State, Kuhn was named to the 2023 All-Big Ten Second Team (Indoor) and set the program’s indoor pole vault record on three occasions, culminating with a 4.19m clearance at the 2023 Big Ten Championships. She also set the outdoor pole vault record three times, culminating in a 4.20m clearance at the 2024 NCAA East First Round. Kuhn's remarkable achievements helped elevate Ohio State’s track and field program, and their work ethic and dedication have made them a respected figure in the pole vault community.
A three-time OSU Scholar Athlete (2022, 2023, 2024) and Academic All-Big Ten honoree in 2023, Kuhn has proven that excellence in both athletics and academics go hand in hand. Now, as a coach, Kuhn is committed to developing Otterbein’s pole vaulters, using her personal experience to inspire, mentor, and guide student-athletes to reach their fullest potential both on and off the runway.
