Lauren Spencer is in her second season as graduate assistant coach for the Otterbein women’s soccer program in 2020.
Spencer arrived to Otterbein after a four-year playing career at Hawaii Pacific University, where she appeared in 45 matches as a goalkeeper. A 2x team captain, she finished with 237 career saves and compiled a stellar 0.48 goals-against average for the Sharks.
Also holding a career .849 save percentage, Spencer earned second team all-conference honors and was nominated for the Athletic Department’s Shark of the Year award.
A native of Oxford, Michigan, Spencer also competed for the Michigan Hawks Elite Club National League as a youth player, winning a national title in 2015 after taking national runner-up honors the year before.
