Rylee Bussen

Rylee Bussen begins her first year as a graduate assistant with the Otterbein women's soccer program for the 2024 season.

Bussen capped a distinguished five-year playing career at Cleveland State University from 2019 to 2023. During her time there, she earned All-Horizon League Second Team honors and was named to the First Team All-Academic. Rylee was also recognized as Second Team All-Ohio for her exceptional performances. Before her collegiate achievements, she made notable contributions with the Classics Eagles, guiding the team to State Cup Finalist positions in 2015, 2016, and 2017, and celebrating a championship victory in 2018.

Bussen has honed her coaching expertise through various prominent programs in Columbus. She currently leads the 2013 Girls Pre-ECNL team at Columbus Force and the 2016 Boys Premier and 2013 Girls Premier teams at Barca Academy Columbus. Additionally, she coaches in the Columbus Force Juniors Program and the Anderson University Summer Soccer Programs. Rylee also offers private and semi-private training for players aged 3 to 16.

Bussen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism & Promotional Communications with a Minor in Digital Content Production from Cleveland State, alongside a Certificate in Digital Marketing. Currently, she's pursuing a Master’s in Intervention Special Education at Otterbein University.
