AJ Dixon

AJ Dixon completed his sixth season as an assistant coach for the Otterbein men’s basketball program in 2025-26, where he was a key to the Cardinals receiving a berth to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2002.

Dixon is no stranger to the Ohio Athletic Conference, putting together a solid playing career for nearby Capital from 2012-16. While a Crusader, he earned a pair of honorable mention All-OAC awards and was part of the league tournament every year.

Capital went 19-7 during Dixon’s inaugural season and the 6-1 guard took on a larger role from there, morphing into a double-digit scorer per game.

A native of nearby Hilliard, Dixon graduated from Hilliard Bradley High School and most recently served as an assistant coach for Gahanna Lincoln during the 2018-19 season. He also has AAU coaching experience with All-Ohio.
