Upton will begin his Otterbein career on staff during the 2026-27 school year. Having played golf and lacrosse at Earlham College, Upton earned his degree in Business with a concentration in Management in the spring of 2026.Â
Athletically, he received Second Team All-Conference honors in lacrosse in 2024, First Team All-Conference in lacrosse in 2025, and the Earlham Athletics Male Dual Sport Athlete of the Year Award in 2026. He was also granted with the Earlham Athletics Sportsmanship Award in 2026 as well as named to the HCLC Sportsmanship Team in the same year.Â
Upton has coaching experience with Headlines Lacrosse Club, where he taught different skills to high schoolers across Cincinnati, Ohio.Â
