Emily Sutton joined the Otterbein staff in 2024 after two and a half years as an assistant athletic trainer at Bradley University. While with the Braves, Sutton worked with the cross country and track and field programs. Prior to her time in Peoria, she completed a 10-month internship as an intern athletic trainer at the University of Tennessee. Sutton was also working solely with the Volunteer cross country and track and field programs while at UT.Â
Sutton ran collegiatley at Division I Murray State, competing in both cross country and track and field. She earned her BS in Athletic Training in 2018 before going on to receive her Master's degree in Health Promotion from Concord University in 2020. At Concord, Sutton was a graduate assistant that worked with the volleyball and softball programs.Â
A native of St. Charles, Mo., Sutton and her husband, Matt, reside in Gahanna with their dog, Dolly.
