Kyle Collette brings more than 20 years of coaching experience to the Otterbein University Tennis program, along with an accomplished background as both a player and mentor at the high school, collegiate, and club levels.

Collette has coached at several respected programs and facilities, including Wickertree Tennis and Fitness Club and Worthington Hills Country Club. His scholastic and collegiate coaching experience includes serving as varsity coach for boys and girls tennis at Columbus Academy, varsity boys tennis coach at Findlay High School, and head coach at Capital University, where he helped develop competitive, well-rounded student-athletes.

As a player, Collette competed at an elite level nationally, highlighted by his appearance as a finalist in the 2010 U.S. Open Qualifying Tournament. He played four years of collegiate tennis at the University of Findlay, competing at No. 1 singles and doubles throughout his career. A four-year team captain, Collette earned Conference Freshman of the Year honors, was named First Team All-Conference all four seasons, and achieved four-year All-GLIAC Academic Excellence recognition.

Collette’s combination of high-level playing experience, long-standing coaching success, and commitment to academic and athletic development makes him a valuable asset to the Otterbein Tennis program.
