PRIMARY COVERAGES: Women's Soccer, Men's Basketball, Softball

Danielle Kilboy, certified and licensed athletic trainer, begins her 13th year as an athletic trainerĀ for Otterbein and third year as Head Athletic Trainer, having served the 2019-20 school year as the Interim Interim Head Athletic Trainer and the eight prior years as an assistant athletic trainer on staff. Throughout her Otterbein athletic training career, Danielle has been the primary athletic trainer for a number of sports including golf, tennis, men’s basketball, softball, women’s lacrosse and women’s soccer.

In addition to her clinical athletic training responsibilities Danielle has served as a part time faculty member in the Health and Sport Sciences Department throughout her career.Ā  Danielle has taught a wide variety of courses ranging from Basic Athletic Training, Therapeutic Interventions, Athletic Training Senior Capstone, Scientific Procedures in Allied Health and CPR.Ā 

In addition to her part-time faculty role, Danielle has also volunteered to serve as the faculty/staff advisor to the Otterbein Club of Athletic Training Students for the past ten years.Ā

Danielle holds a Master’s of Science in Allied Health degree with a concentration in Healthcare Administration from Otterbein University, a Master’s of Science degree in Exercise and Sports Sciences from Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon, andĀ a Bachelor of Arts degree in Athletic Training from Capital University in Bexley, Ohio.
