Piper, a sophomore from Sunbury (Big Walnut), dropped a career-best 20 points on 8 of 11 shooting in the team's 70-57 win over Marietta to open conference play Wednesday evening.

She then finished the week with a team-high 16 points and game-highs of nine rebounds and four assists in a 66-63 victory at Muskingum. As a result of her play, she was selected OAC Player of the Week.
