Pyles, a senior running back from Grove City (Franklin Heights), had a memorbale performance in helping the football team earn an exciting 49-34 win at cross-town rival Capital.

Pyles finished with a career-high 193 yards on just 12 carries and three total touchdowns. He rushed for two and then caught a seven-yard TD pass in the second half.

His standout moment came during the second quarter, breaking off a school-record 99-yard touchdown run to give the Cards a 21-7 lead and seize all of the momentum. Pyles was not even touched on the play.
