Lakso, a 125-pound freshman from Grove City (Central Crossing), helped relaunch the wrestling program with a bang last week by posting a perfect 5-0 record individually.

Lakso pinned his Thomas More opponent just 55 seconds into Otterbein's first match in 42 years, and then went 4-0 at the John Carroll Duals with three pins (two in first round) and a majority decision. He was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Wrestler of the Week for his efforts.

The first-year Cardinals now stand 5-0 on the young season and will next compete at the Olivet College Duals.
