Beachy, a sophomore shortstop from Springboro, helped lead the baseball team to an OAC Tournament championship over the weekend with a pair of impressive performances in the leadoff spot.

He was named the tournament's Most Valuable Player, going 3 for 4 with a pair of runs scored in the opener against Marietta and then hitting a perfect 4 for 4 with a walk, sac fly and three runs in the title game victory over Mount Union.
