Russell, a senior libero from Dublin (Jerome High School) became the school's all-time leader in digs over the weekend by breaking Mandy Simmerman's ten-year record of 2,046. Russell helped the Cardinals play to a 3-1 record at the Hiram Tournament, registering 83 digs over four matches to elevate her career total to 2,099.
