James Eastep begins his fourth season as a coach for the men’s lacrosse program, and second year as the graduate assistant.
Eastep only played half of his freshman season with the Cardinals before sustaining an injury and ultimately staying on as a student assistant. A 2017 Otterbein graduate, he received his bachelor’s degree in allied health.
Eastep was a three-year letterman for nearby Dublin Jerome High School, where he was part of a state championship and two state runner-up teams. He also received four letters as a standout ice hockey player and graduated as the school’s all-time leading scorer.
He also holds coaching experience with a U18 Youth hockey team as well as a True Ohio Summer lacrosse squad. Eastep will be working towards his master’s in allied health administration.
