Box Score
TIFFIN, Ohio – The Otterbein University women's basketball finished its season with a road defeat Saturday afternoon, falling 77-66 at Heidelberg University in league action.

The Cardinals split the season series with Heidelberg, ending the 2013-14 campaign at 7-18 overall and 3-15 in the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC).

The Student Princes earn the eighth and final spot in next week's OAC Tournament as a result of the win, improving themselves to 12-13 (5-13 OAC) under first-year head coach Morgan Shriver.

Heidelberg opened the game with a quick 10-2 run and held onto a 20-10 lead by the midway point of the first half. The Berg' extended the advantage to 16 by halftime and maintained the double-digit advantage throughout the second half en route to victory.

Junior forward Tabatha Piper led Otterbein with 19 points and seven rebounds while sophomore Amariah Huck chipped in 13. Freshman Taylor Pifher and Kyleigh Wyeth combined to score 18 off the bench.

Heidelberg senior Kathleen Phillips, who missed the first meeting between the schools earlier this season, led her squad with a game-high 26 points on a 10-of-15 effort from the floor.

Both teams shot over 50 percent from the field throughout, but the Cardinals hit just 2-of-14 three-pointers while Heidelberg connected on 9 of 20 from behind the arc. Otterbein committed 23 turnovers compared to Heidelberg's 14.
