CINCINNATI, Ohio – The Otterbein women's lacrosse team got itself into the win column with a dominant showing Wednesday night, walking away from host Mount St. Joseph with a lopsided 20-3 victory.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
	- The Lions, competing with just 11 players the entire night, leapt out to an early lead behind a pair of scores in the early going.

- Otterbein settled in soon after with nine-straight goals before MSJ stopped the bleeding. The Cards eventually went to intermission leading 11-3 behind a six-point opening half from Julia Karas.

- The Cardinals blew the game open for good in the second half, keeping the hosts scoreless over the ensuing 30 minutes to grab their first win of the spring.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
	- Karas led the charge with seven total points (3G, 4A), falling just one shy of her career-best set last year against Ohio Northern.

- Nine different Cardinals found the back of the net, headlined by multi-goal efforts from Noa Crowley, Karas, Julie Platz, Kiera Mulcahy, Abby Smoot and Cameron Finnegan.

- The defense remained firm all night after allowing those two early goals, as MSJ attempted just nine shots and committed eight more turnovers. Otterbein was a perfect 25 of 25 on clear attempts.

- Crowley, in the lineup for just the second time this year, finished with a team-high four goals and six draw controls.
