WESTERVILLE, Ohio – Men's lacrosse collected its sixth win of the season Wednesday night in dominant fashion, knocking off the visiting Wilmington Quakers with a program best 28 goals.
The Cardinals move to 6-2 overall now and 4-1 in Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) action, meanwhile the Quakers have yet to find the win column.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Cardinals scored eight times in the first period with Xander Seal spearheading the attack. Seal collected three goals and two assists in the first 15 minutes of play, ultimately setting a new single game record with 11 points.

- The second quarter was more of the same with Otterbein finding the back of the net nine times for a 17-0 lead at the half.

- Some clean jerseys found the field for the Cards in the third quarter, but the offense was still productive and scored seven more times.

- The Quakers scored the first goal of the fourth quarter and added another at the 6:39 mark to snap the Cards hopes of keeping Wilmington off the board.

THE STATS:
- A total of 13 different Cardinals scored in the game, Seal led the way with six goals while Max Graham found the back of the net four times.

- Six other Cards recorded multiple scores and four found the back of the net once.
Â
- Seal also recorded a team-high five assists and Quinn Nicodemus dished out three helpers.

- The 28 goals scored are a new program record, the previous best was 25 against Bethany in 2011, Wilmington in 2013 and Heidelberg in 2017.

The Cardinals return to action Saturday night, hosting rival Capital for a 7 p.m. contest.
